For writers, consultants, and anyone with readers who own a website

Earn $20 for every site you send us.

One link, no cap, no expiry. A reader who starts the yearly plan through it gets 10% off their first year ($71.10, then $79 a year) and a monthly copy of every page of their site, with full-page screenshots, as a private link in their inbox. Once their site has been going for 30 days, $20 of that is yours, paid at the start of each quarter.

Get your link

Name, email, and your own site. Your code, your link, and the private link to your dashboard arrive by email.

Your own site is backed up free for as long as you like: no card, no expiry, one site per affiliate. Your link is for other people's sites.

Signups are automatic, nothing waits on us. We look over new ones afterwards, and in the rare case of misuse we ask that account to move to the standard plan instead.

How it works

  1. Share your link. It lands on our pricing card with your code filled in and 10% off their first year already applied: $71.10, then $79 a year. A reader can also type the code in by hand.
  2. The site backs up. Their first backup starts right after checkout, and a fresh one lands on the 1st of every month.
  3. 30 days later, $20 is yours. A site that is still going after 30 days is a confirmed referral. Your dashboard shows every referral, what has cleared, what has been paid, and what is due.
  4. Paid quarterly, arranged by email. At the start of January, April, July, and October we email you to coordinate payment of what is due, through a service such as PayPal.

The rules, in plain words

Yearly plan only. A reader who picks the $9 monthly plan is not a referral. Other people's sites only. Sites you pay for yourself earn nothing, and a site cancelled or refunded inside its first 30 days is not paid. A reader who uses a designer's half-off code instead is that designer's referral, not yours; a sale carries one code or the other, never both.

Say it is a referral link. It is honest and in many places the law requires it. Describe the service as this site does, and no further. Designer who bills clients? The designer program is the other door on the same code: your clients get half off their first year instead of 10%, and you earn no fee. A code is in one program or the other, and you can switch from your dashboard. The terms have the rest.
