Can I make a backup right now?

Yes. Each site on your dashboard has a "Back up now" button, once a day per site. The copy lands in a few minutes and shows what changed since the last one.

Open your dashboard, find the site, and press Back up now. The backup is queued, our worker picks it up within a few minutes, and the private link arrives by email like any other. The dashboard updates by itself when the copy is ready, and marks that row "On request".

When it is useful. Before a redesign or a template change. Before handing the site to a new designer. After a big edit you want on record with a date on it. Any time you would rather not wait for the 1st.

Once a day per site. The button waits 24 hours after the last backup, whether that one was requested, monthly, or the first one after checkout. The monthly backup still happens on the 1st regardless.

Free designer sites too. The button is on every active site, including the free site a designer gets with their code.
