Which pages are included?
Every public page a visitor can reach, found through your sitemap and by following links between your pages, however many there are, up to 4 GB per backup. Login-only pages, drafts, and admin screens are not included.
The crawler starts from your sitemap, then follows links between pages on your own domain, the way a visitor clicking around would. Blog posts, product pages, galleries, and landing pages all count, as long as they are public.
Not included:
- Pages behind a site-wide password, a page password, or a member area.
- Drafts, disabled pages, and anything only visible while logged in.
- Admin and account screens (
/config,/account, checkout, and similar). - Other domains, even if you link to them.
- Pages your robots.txt asks crawlers to skip.
Each backup stops at 5,000 pages or 4 GB of content. If your site is larger, the backup says which limit it reached, and the page list shows what was captured. See What are the limits on pages and size?
